Good protection starts with the paintwork.Prepare the finish, then protect it.

A ceramic coating forms a protective layer over the prepared surface, improving water repellency and helping dirt release during washing. It preserves the finish beneath it; any swirl marks or scratches that need correction must be assessed before application.

Ceramic coating.Easier care for the finish.

  • Easier washing and drying, supported by a suitable care routine.
  • Water-repellent performance that helps water bead and move off the surface.
  • Dedicated protection chosen for each surface being treated.
  • Clear aftercare guidance to support the coating’s performance.

Clarity, depth and gloss start with the paintwork. Refining dull or marked paint before coating can make a greater difference to its appearance than choosing protection by the longest advertised lifespan.

Ceramic or Long-life Ceramic Coating?Standard and long-life coating choices.

Our enhancement and correction packages offer Ceramic options, single-layer coatings with stated durations of 2–3 years, and Long-life Ceramic Coating options, a dual-layer system with stated durations of 3–5 years. These are indicative product-duration bands, subject to the exact system, application and care.

We’ll identify the coating and its aftercare requirements in your quote. Your ownership plans and washing routine help us recommend the right option.

The right protection for each surface:paintwork, alloys, glass and interior.

Paintwork, wheels and glass each need dedicated protection. Alloy coatings help brake dust and road grime release during cleaning. Glass protection is a separate treatment, with its own preparation, application and aftercare.

Alloy ceramic protection is available from £95 and glass ceramic protection from £75 on applicable packages. The Glass + Alloy Protection Bundle is £150 on Paint Enhancement, correction and Deep Clean services. We check tier inclusions before adding protection to a quote.

Suitable leather and fabric treatments can extend the care into the cabin. These are separate options, selected for the materials being treated. Explore interior care and protection if that is your priority.

Ceramic coating:stone chips, scratches and what it can’t do.

A coating supports easier cleaning and protection of the prepared finish. It cannot stop stone chips, repair existing defects or prevent damage from poor washing. Water spots and contamination still need prompt, suitable attention. Tell us what matters most, and we’ll explain the right treatment.

Wax can still suit owners who enjoy renewing protection themselves. Our ceramic coating versus wax guide explains how the options compare.

Decontamination, paint correction and coating aftercare.Prepare carefully, apply correctly, care consistently.

We assess the finish and agree to any machine polishing or paint correction before coating. Cleaning and decontamination prepare the surface; polishing residue and existing wax or sealant are addressed in line with the chosen product’s instructions. Application and curing take place in suitable conditions. Send your postcode and preferred timing so we can confirm the arrangements.

After treatment, follow the first-wash guidance and use suitable products with clean washing equipment. Our guide to washing a ceramic coated car sets out the routine. For continued care by Purity, ask about Maintenance Detail.

The right environment matters. We plan mobile, dealership or studio work around the coating’s application and curing requirements; some treatments need conditions an open driveway cannot provide.

Tell us your postcode, available access and whether the vehicle can remain in suitable conditions afterwards. We’ll advise on the arrangements.
